The Model LTS is a light capacity manual test
stand with a quick-acting pull type lever for rapid tension
and compression testing. When fitted with a Chatillon
force gauge, this manual test stand is ideal for testing
springs, paper, cord, plastic, rubber, wire and a wide variety
of light parts or assemblies in a laboratory or manufacturing
environment. The test stand accommodates a Chatillon
light duty force gauge as the force readout.

stroke
- Adjustable for right or left hand operation
- Holes in base permit rigid mounting to work bench
- 2-1/4" clearance from column to gauge and platform
centerline
Features
Durable Construction:
The maintenance-free design utilizes a cast iron base. Tough
cast aluminum is used for the gauge clamp and the lever support
housing. 1" diameter x 19" high ARMOLOY plated,
hardened steel column.
Standard Accessories:
2" diameter lower compression plate and one hook for
tension testing. Mounting screws for DPP gauge.
Compression Testing:
Standard clearance between upper and lower plates with:
- DFGS & DPP gauge
(inverted): 9-1/4"
- DFIS: 7-3/4"
Tension Testing:
Standard extended length, hook to hook with:
- DFGS & DPP gauge
(inverted): 8-1/4"
- DFIS: 6-3/4"
Optional Accessories:
- 2" diameter upper compression plate
- Extended column to increase the height of the stand. Optional
columns include 19", 29", 39" and 60"
- Gripping fixtures which add
flexibility for specialized testing. (#10-32 tapped hole
in rack; both ends)
